A practice-management platform for Tunisian dental clinics: agenda, patient files, dental charts, X-rays, invoices and WhatsApp reminders, with AI built into the daily workflow.
The problem
Most dental clinics in Tunisia still run on a paper agenda, WhatsApp and a spreadsheet. Patients drop off in the middle of a treatment plan and nobody notices until the chair is empty.
The software that exists is either European and priced for Europe, or old desktop software that dentists find painful to use.
What I built
- Agenda, patient files and treatment plans that track how far each patient is through their sessions
- An interactive dental chart, X-ray and document storage, and invoicing in dinars
- WhatsApp reminders the dentist approves before they go out
- AI features on Gemini: clinical note summaries, a patient summary before each visit, invoice OCR, and a search bar that understands plain questions
- Per-clinic data isolation in Postgres, and nightly encrypted backups
Where it is now
Tbibia is live at tbibia.com and in use at clinics in Tunis, sold door to door, clinic by clinic.
The code stays private because the product handles patient data. The screens here come from a test clinic with fake patients.
